From the sounds of classic Big Band ballrooms to the relaxed vibe of Yorkville folk cafés, Shannon Butcher’s music blends timeless jazz traditions with fresh interpretations of beloved songs.
Having toured across Canada and internationally, Shannon has appeared at renowned venues including Hermann’s Jazz Club in Victoria, the Yardbird Suite in Edmonton, and Upstairs Jazz in Montreal, as well as major jazz festivals throughout Ontario. Her recordings have earned wide recognition, including iTunes’ Best New Jazz Artist of the Year, and she has released five albums on her label Summer Bloom Records.
